Unique assets, comprised of a collection of metadata defining a digital object verified within a blockchain that certifies that these are unique and not interchangeable, and which provides a means of sale, authentication, and provenance. NFTs may be bought and sold, but have no tangible form of their own, and point to digital content such as photos, video, audio, games, or any other media that is storable digitally. Even though the content may be available freely in infinite duplicate, an NFT guarantees ownership of the work, but not necessarily copyright of the content.
